We’ve featured a couple videos now from the XCAR automotive video channel. Here is Drew from XCAR taking a few laps around the 24 Hours of Le Mans in a new Corvette Stingray the morning before the 24 hour race. This is one of the fastest “parade laps” we’ve seen yet for the Stingray and Drew just can’t believe his lucky stars to be driving the circuit de la Sarthe.

Corvette Racing has been a mainstay at the 24 Hours of Le Mans annually for the last 15 years. This year, the team took the opportunity to thank all the local fans that come out to the track as well as all who support the factory-backed C7.Rs everywhere. Here is their latest video recapping the biggest and most important race of the year.

Since 1923, Le Mans, France has hosted a twenty-four hour race that has since become the world’s largest motorsport event of the year. For fifteen years, the 24 Hours of Le Mans has become a place of honor and pride for Corvette Racing. Winning the contest seven times against the world’s greatest sports cars is no small achievement.

This video is a celebration of the event and the fans who love it.

Corvette Racing at Watkins Glen: Third Straight Victory For Garcia, Magnussen

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (June 29, 2014) – In its 15 years of existence, Sunday marked Corvette Racing’s first event at Watkins Glen International. The team made its debut one to remember with a dominating GT Le Mans (GTLM) victory in the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen for Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen in the No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R.

Corvette DPs second and third at head of Watkins Glen Six Hours grid

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (June 28, 2014) – Corvette Racing’s Jan Magnussen qualified second Saturday in the GT Le Mans (GTLM) class of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. The Dane turned a lap of 1:44.376 (117.268 mph) in the No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R that he shares with Antonio Garcia. Sunday’s race will be Corvette Racing’s first event at Watkins Glen International.

Corvette Racing and Mobil 1 Extend Partnership in Multi-Year Agreement

When Corvette Racing’s two C7.R entries take the green flag Sunday with the rest of the field in the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen at Watkins Glen International, the Corvettes will again be running with Mobil 1 Oil.

ExxonMobil and Corvette Racing have just announced they’ve renewed their collaboration agreement for the 18th consecutive year, with the Mobil 1 brand again a major associate sponsor for Corvette Racing and the “Official Lubricant of Corvette Racing.”

Chevrolet Extends Stingray School Offer to Canadian Corvette Buyers

Great news for Corvette enthusiasts in Canada. Chevrolet in Canada has announced that Canadian buyers of the new Corvette Stingray are now eligible to attend the Stingray School at Ron Fellows Performance Driving School in Nevada. The two-day Stingray School is $1,000 USD which is a $1,500 discount off the standard driving school rate.

Here’s another 1969 L88 Corvette at the track. Watch that front end lift on take-off!

1/4 mile drag test of an ultra rare Pure Stock 1969 L88 Corvette powered by a factory aluminum head, solid lifter, 430 Horsepower 427 big block. The L88 is extremely rare and valuable as only 116 were built in 1969. How valuable? Recently, L88 Corvettes have sold for more than 1 million dollars.

The other L88 drag race that we recently posted also featured a 1969 L88 Corvette vs a 1972 Olds 442.
