The 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe has only been out for a month and now the rumor mill is back in full swing with discussions about the performance variants of the C7. Motor Trend has suggested that the next generation Corvette Z06 may have up to 600 horsepower while the King of the Hill Corvette ZR1 could be pushing 700 horses or more.

For months now, in the aftermath of the Jalopnik renderings, critics of the polarizing new C7 rear end have been threatening to perform “plastic surgery” on their own and change what the GM designers came up with.

While we sit back and wonder what the new C7.R race car from Corvette Racing and Pratt & Miller will look like, a talented graphic artist has already unveiled his vision of the car that will be based on the recently unveiled 2014 Corvette Stingray.
According to our friends at Autoweek, Chevrolet is planning on holding the unveiling of the the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible at the Geneva Motor Show in early March. Autoweek cites sources for the info and claim that the Stingray will be a 2014 model and that it could be in dealer showrooms at the end of the year.

The excitement and anticipation of the first all-new Corvette in nearly a decade continues to gain momentum as the unveiling of the C7 approaches Sunday night.
Last year it was announced that General Motors would not be advertising during the Super Bowl game due to the growing costs of the coveted commercial spots. After all, a :30 second spot is fetching upwards of $4 million during the most watched TV event of the year. But a new report from The Detroit Bureau is saying that Chevy may be looking to get back into the game, but will swap advertising costs for product placement. As for the product to be placed, its none other than the 2014 C7 Corvette.
On Sunday evening, Corvette Forum member “Blue Ox” promised a Christmas gift for those that follow the C7 threads and then proceeded to post a bevy of images that appear to come from a service manual or user’s guide.
Last week a similar image of the C7′s nose was leaked.
Included in the image dump is a definitive view of the C7 Corvette’s rear end, an interior drawing showing the drivers cockpit and there is an actual gauge photo too. But that’s not all as some specific features of the C7 have been detailed as well.
