Other than the official Chevy teaser video we saw earlier this year, we haven’t really been able to get inside the Bowling Green Assembly Plant to see how the new C7 Corvettes are assembled until now. Here’s a video that features six minutes of hot assembly line action featuring the 2014 Corvette Stingray.
One of our happy places, The Lingenfelter Collection, will be holding their annual fall open house coming up on Saturday, October 12th. Festivities will run from 10am to 5pm. Since October is breast cancer awareness month, proceeds from the event will go to the Shades of Pink Foundation which helps ease the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis.

Motor Trend wasn’t able to get a couple of the newest supercars – the 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 and the Ferrari F12 – for its annual Best Driver’s Car contest earlier this year, when the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S took the title again for the second straight year.
We knew the C7 Corvette’s A6 automatic transmission was going to be phased out at some point and speculation has been rampant that a new, 8 speed transmission would replace it. After all, GM has been talking about the upcoming 8-speed for a while now. However, it now seems that the Vette’s next automatic might just be a clutch-less manual.

Yes, that day, you can actually drive your Corvette on to the Boardwalk, park, and enjoy the magnificent scenery, the most delicious food, the people and of course the Corvettes.
