This morning the all new Corvette C7.R race car was introduced to the public alongside the street version of the 2015 Corvette Z06 at the 2014 North American International Auto Show.
A new era of Corvette performance was introduced this morning at the 2014 North American International Auto Show. The 2015 Corvette Z06 finally broke cover and made its public debut in front of eager automotive journalists while thousands of Corvette enthusiasts watched the unveiling live online.
This isn’t just another Corvette from Chevrolet. This is a world-class supercar with a race proven aerodynamic design and advanced technologies that makes it the most track-capable Corvette in history.

Watch the reveal of the 2015 Corvette Z06 and the all-new C7.R racecar live from the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The video live-stream begins at 9:30 am ET with a “special event” and then the reveal of the two new Corvettes happens at the Chevrolet press conference at 10:00 am ET.
Despite Chevrolet’s best attempts to keep the lid on the 2015 Corvette Z06 until the official reveal on Monday morning at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, the cat is now out of the bag after a Jalopnik reader goes sleuthing for the images and finds them courtesy of a Google image search on another automotive news site.
Good news for those who can’t attend the unveiling of the 2015 Corvette Z06 and Corvette Racing’s C7.R at the 2014 North American International Auto Show.
Chevrolet has announced this morning that it will offer a special live stream of the unveiling as well as as a “special event leading up to the Press Conference” on January 13th beginning at 9:30 am EST.
A special event for the veterans of the United States Armed Forces brought Corvettes and Vets together for the first annual Vettes for Veterans. This was a very humble show that offered a nice break from the major auto industry shows like the 2013 SEMA show — it almost every way, the Vettes for Veterans show on November 9th was the exact opposite of the major industry auto shows of 2013.
The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show is celebrating its 5th anniversary this weekend in Chicago. The annual fiesta of fiberglass and steel is back inside the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont Saturday and Sunday November 23th – 24th. Show hours are 9am-9pm on Saturday and 9am-5pm on Sunday. A $20 bill will get you in the door. Kids 12 and under are free.
The Mecum Auctions’ 2013 US tour stops in Anaheim, California this weekend. The 3-day extravaganza gets underway Thursday, November 21st at the Anaheim Convention Center. The action will run through Saturday, November 23rd until all of the nearly 700 cars have rolled across the auction block.
