[ACCIDENT] C5 Corvette Hits a Tree in New Jersey

A medical helicopter was used to transport a West Milford, New Jersey Corvette driver to the hospital after he crashed his yellow 2003 coupe into a tree last Thursday morning.

Anthony Venturella, 57, was believed to be on his way to work at 5:42 a.m. when the one-car crash occurred on Route 23 South near the Kinnelon border.

Chevrolet to Start Testing the 2014 Corvette Stingray in Europe

We’ve been a follower of ChevroletEurope on Twitter for some time now but really started paying attention earlier this year when the Corvette Stingray made its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Motor Trend Takes A Closer Look at Howard Weaver's Car Collection

Some people have had car collecting in their blood ever since they can remember. Howard Weaver of Ann Arbor, Michigan is one of those people.

In fact, after 77 years of doing so, Weaver has probably been collecting cars maybe longer than anybody in the United States. A little qualifier on that status: Weaver’s dad actually is the one who paid $50 for a 1931 American Austin in 1936 when little Howard was just 6 years old. That two-passenger coupe later became Howard’s first car, and he still has it along with many other outstanding vehicles in a series of four heated barns on his property. That car was the impetus for a lifetime of collecting cars.

Corvette Auction Preview: Hartland Auctions at the National Corvette Museum

Our friends at Hartland Auctions are hosting their first ever National Corvette Museum Auction this weekend in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Hartland expects about 300 cars for their inaugural event at the NCM.
