Chevrolet just posted a new video on your their YouTube channel called “Candles” which features the 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible with the 60th Anniversary Edition. As the length of the video is actually 30 seconds, we’re hoping to see this commercial run during this weekend’s broadcast of the 12 Hours of Sebring.
Although Corvette first made its introduction in January 1953 at the GM Motorama in New York City, the concept that took the country by storm – codenamed EX-122 – was actually built in 1952. Sixty years later, Chevrolet is planning to celebrate the occasion with events worldwide. Once of those celebrations is being planned when Chevrolet returns to the United Kingdom for the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

You can protest in your Occupy Boise tent, but you can’t protest the movement in your car. That was apparently the case recently as the owners of a Geo Metro and a Corvette parked their cars next to the Occupy Boise’s tent city on the grounds of the old Ada County courthouse.
After 50 years, a Michigan man is finally letting someone else take care of one of the loves of his life. Jim Liedel is selling the 1954 Corvette that’s he’s owned since 1962!
“I’m 68 years old,” Liedel tells the Monroe News. “I’m not a kid anymore. I’ve had my fun.”
Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am has been seen around Hollywood lately in his West Coast Custom’s 1959 Corvette.
It was a busy Friday morning for 31-year old Joseph Ciambriello according the police in Lindenhurst, New York.
The man was first accused of creeping around an elementary school in the early morning hours. When school officials confronted Ciambriello, he told them he was a member of the CIA and then he fled in his black C6 Corvette. The school got his license plate and called in the security threat to police, who caught up with Ciambriello a short time later.
Corvette’s advanced traction control system – Performance Traction Management or PTM for short – can make even the best drivers better.

Folks like Todd Largent, who was laid off 3½ years ago, and other workers with recall rights, are being summoned back to work just in time for the seventh generation of America’s sports car expected to arrive next year.
