Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash isn’t the only hard rocking musician to have a classic Corvette for sale. A 1978 Indy 500 Corvette Pace Car that was purchased new and owned by the former lead guitarist of KISS, Ace Frehley is currently listed on eBay. The Corvette is being sold by Ace’s brother-in-law, who was presented the car in 1980 as a high school graduation gift.

C3 Corvette Gets Stolen, Totaled in Police Chase

Ronnie Lee Long of La Mesa Mobile Home Park in Morgantown, West Virginia was arrested and is now being held on $250,000 on charges that he stole a 1975 Corvette. During the theft, Long led authorities on a chase that culminated with the Corvette crashing into a tow truck. The Corvette is owned by Rocky Manchin, brother of US Senator Joe Manchin, D-W.Va.

1969 Corvette Barn Car Found in Maryland

Here is a 1969 Corvette barn car found somewhere in Maryland. As the seller/buyer was attempting to open the garage door, it basically came apart revealing the C3 Stingray coupe inside. The Corvette was parked sometime in 1979 by the second owner and is still wearing the tags from that year.

This custom C3 Corvette looks like the perfect vehicle to take to the beach for a little fishing, doesn’t it? Or, for just cruising down the street and watching people do double-takes. If you live around Ocean City, NJ, you’re probably familiar with Dewey Powell and his 4-wheel drive Corvette. Powered by a dual-quad 392 Hemi, the Corvette rides on the chassis of a 1969 Corvette while the body was donated from a 1981 Corvette.

1969 L89 Corvette Sells for $62,000 at 2011 Mecum Kissimmee Auction

This Riverside Gold 1969 Corvette equipped with a 427/435 hp L89 aluminum-head optioned Corvette was sold with no reserve at Saturday’s Mecum Auction in Kissimmee, Florida for $62,000. A low mileage Corvette, this big-block is documented with the tank sticker as well as owner history and appraisals.

The Corvettes at Carlise show is one of the premier annual Corvette shows for owners and enthusiasts alike. The founder of the Carlisle shows, Chip Miller, was one of the giants in our hobby and everyone was pretty shocked when he lost his life nearly 7 years ago to a rare disease known as Amyloidosis. Today, the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation helps raise awareness and funds to find a cure for the disease. The great folks at Barrett-Jackson stepped up on Wednesday evening and this 1973 Red Corvette was auctioned with the proceeds to go to finding a cure for Amyloidosis.
