First, the good news: there’s apparently only one of these monstrosities. The bad news is everything else. The Eldorette is a combination of C3 Corvette and Cadillac Eldorado, and perfectly illustrates that some things – handguns and tequila, for example – just shouldn’t be put together. The seller claims over $200K was dumped into the construction, which is as crazy as it is sad.

Purchased from “Mr. Motion” Joel Rosen about 10 years ago, it recently completed a very lengthy, very thorough, and (we imagine) a very expensive restoration. It was unveiled for the very first time last weekend at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago by the current owner Dan McMichael, Joel Rosen, and Martyn Schorr. [PICS] The 5th Annual Corvettes for Chip Show

Sunday was the 5th Annual Corvettes for Chip show in honor of the late Chip Miller. The beautiful blue sky and 59 degree weather guaranteed a great turnout for the show which also serves as a Amyloidosis research fundraiser for the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation. The show was held in West Chester, PA at the very scenic Brandywine picnic park and there were plenty of great looking Corvettes to see including Lance Miller’s Le Mans winning 1960 Briggs Cunningham Corvette.
