Survivor 1969 L88 Corvette Convertible Heading to Mecum Anaheim

This highly documented, unrestored 1969 L88 convertible will be offered at Mecum Auctions’ Anaheim, California event this weekend. The LeMans Blue roadster is widely considered to be one of the most highly optioned and best documented L88’s known to exist. It is scheduled to cross the auction block about 1:20pm Pacific time this Saturday, November 17th.

Eager gearheads would do just about anything to make their ride stand out from the crowd. Enter customizer Les Dunham and the Corvette Caballista. His Dunham Coach Motor Car Company built just 50 Caballistas between 1977 and 1982. The example seen here is a later model based on 1982 Collector Edition Corvette.

ProTeam Corvette to Host NCRS Judging School and Seminars

Our friends at ProTeam Corvette Sales will be hosting an all-day Corvette seminar and judging school on Saturday November 10th. The event is sponsored by the Michigan and Heart of Ohio chapters of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS), although NCRS membership isn’t required to attend the event. This 1973 red Corvette doesn’t really seem like the kind of car that Kelsey Grammer would drive.

But then again, Grammer was just portraying that snob Fraiser Crane on Cheers all those years.

According to an ad on eBay trying to sell this Corvette, the owner bought it from Grammer in 2003 and has stored it in a temperature controlled garage at his Woodland Hills, California home, ever since.
