The owner of two original Granatelli turbine cars says it’s time for someone else to have fun with the vehicles.
That’s why Austin, Texas businessman Milton Verret says he is selling his record-breaking Indy 500 #70 Lotus 56-3 and a one-of-a-kind 1978 turbine-powered jet Corvette at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction being held Jan. 10-18, 2015.

One of the coolest displays at this year’s Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN) in Chicago was the Corvette Race Car Invitational. Ten significant racers from Corvette’s early years made up this year’s display including a pair of 1963 Z06’s and several L88’s.

Last weekend we kicked off our pre-turkey day festivities by hitting up the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN) in Chicago. For 2 days hundreds of muscle cars, Corvettes, customs, and racers took over the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont in what’s become one of the best indoor shows around. This year’s topic will be Corvette’s Performance Evolution. The all-day seminar is open to both NCRS members and the general public. The $25 admission fee includes both breakfast and lunch.
