As promised, we now present the 10 Corvettes to be included in this year’s Great Hall. The cars of the class of 2012 include the oldest production Corvette, a wildly popular styling car, and a pair of famous L88 racers.
Mecum Auctions will offer nearly 200 Corvettes for sale this week in Indianapolis at their 25th Annual Spring Classic auction. Corvettes make up almost 10% of the expected 2,000 car docket. The event kicked off yesterday with “Super Tuesday” and concludes on Sunday, May 20th. The team at Velocity will provide 32 hours of live auction TV coverage. The Palm Beach sale will have roughly 450 cars up for bid including 39 Corvettes which translates into about 9% of the total docket. Of those, all but 2 are being sold at no reserve.
