Alice Cooper's 1961 Corvette and Matching Fender Guitar at Auction

Alice Cooper, the rocker whose career has gone on for fifty years is selling his 1961 Corvette. The Corvette will be offered for sale at the 2010 Shannons Melbourne Winter Classic Auction in Australia on May 31st. To sweeten the offer, Cooper autographed a white Fender Squier guitar and tossed it into the deal.

Automobile Magazine Responds to Corvette Chief Engineer's Comments from the NCM Bash

A rare and valuable 1954 Corvette roadster was stolen from a Wilwaukie, Oregon man’s garage. Emory Molchan said he discovered the Corvette missing from its garage on Tuesday. Molchan owns three 1954 Corvettes but the stolen car was the most valuable. Following a four-year restoration, Molchan says the Corvette only has just 500 miles on the odometer.

1961 Corvette, VIN 10867S105XXX. Matching numbers 283 ci 245 hp dual quad engine, 4-speed transmission. 75,700 original miles. Jewel Blue/white coves with Black vinyl interior, white top, “nuts and bolts” restoration with $40K in receipts. Options include white wall tires and the AM radio (currently not working). Condition is excellent and all mechanicals work correctly. No documentation.

Barn Find: 1954 Corvette Pulled from Field in Upstate New York

First Corvette to Win at Le Mans to be Displayed at the C5/C6 Bash

The 1960 Cunningham Corvette was the first Corvette to win at Le Mans. The story of the skillful restoration of this classic Corvette will be told to fans attending the C5/C6 Bash at the National Corvette Museum on May 1. The Peter Max VH1 Corvette Collection is on the Move in NYC

2009 Callaway GT1 Championship Edition featured in Corvette Magazine

In 1989 VH1 held a contest where they gave a way 36 Corvettes – one for every year beginning in 1953 through 1989 – to a single winner. Dennis Amodeo, a carpenter from Long Island won the collection, but before taking delivery he sold all 36 Corvettes to Pop artist Peter Max who planned to use the cars for an art project. The project never got off the ground and the Corvettes ended up parked in a Brooklyn building where they were essentially forgotten.
