BRASELTON, Ga. (Oct. 4, 2014) – Tommy Milner and Oliver Gavin posted one of their strongest showings of the year en route to a competitive fourth-place finish in the No. 4 Corvette Racing Chevrolet Corvette C7.R at Saturday’s 10-hour Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta. The pairing led four times in class before just missing the class podium.

Corvette Racing made their first appearance in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) outside of Le Mans recently at the Lone Star Le Mans in Austin, Texas. While their finish at the Circuit of the Americas wasn’t what they are used to and certainly not what they had hoped for, the experience doesn’t seem to have soured Corvette Racing’s interest in more racing in the WEC.

DETROIT (Sept. 26, 2014) – Ryan Briscoe will return to Corvette Racing next week for Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta as the third driver in both of the team’s Chevrolet Corvette C7.Rs. The Aussie star will try to help Corvette Racing and Chevrolet win for the fifth time this year in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship’s GT Le Mans (GTLM) class. The annual 1,000-mile/10-hour endurance race is set for Saturday, Oct. 4.

The first production 2004 Le Mans Commemorative Edition Z06 will cross the block at Mecum’s Chicago auction on Saturday October 11, 2014. AUSTIN, Texas (Sept. 20, 2014) – It was a difficult day for the Corvette C7.Rs in the Lone Star Le Mans event at Circuit of the Americas on Saturday. Returning to the site of a victory in last year’s American Le Mans Series race, Corvette Racing aimed for a return to the GT Le Mans (GTLM) podium in the TUDOR Championship. An early charge by Antonio Garcia in the No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R at the start of the race raised hopes as the Spaniard moved from seventh to fifth in the opening laps.

AUSTIN, Texas (Sept. 19, 2014) – Jan Magnussen was the quickest qualifier for Corvette Racing in the GTLM class in the No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R for the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship’s Lone Star Le Mans race at Circuit of the Americas on Friday.

The Dane – a winner a year ago with teammate Antonio Garcia at COTA in the American Le Mans Series – set a best lap of 2:04.847 (98.040 mph) to place seventh in the session. Magnussen will make his return to racing in the Corvette after he missed the most recent TUDOR Championship round at VIR as a precaution following a hard crash in a practice session.
