The sports car racing season begins this weekend in Central Florida as Corvette Racing takes on the best in the American Le Mans Series at the 60th Annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring fueled by Fresh from Florida. Corvette Racing will be debuting two new widebody C6.Rs as well as a revised driver lineup which includes newcomer Jordan Taylor. The Series` annual Canadian stop, a huge draw every season since the first race in 1999, is set for another record-setting crowd with a race in late July. The circuit is the fastest in the Series with average laps speeds in excess of 130 mph for the prototypes.
There is no better place for the world`s most exotic racers than the streets of Long Beach in southern California. It has been standing-room only since the Series` first trip in 2007 and this year will be no different. Corvette Racing finished 2nd in GT in 2010.
