We showed you the one and only Paul McCartney driving his blue C5 Corvette around California a few days ago.

Now another legendary singer – The Boss, otherwise known as Bruce Springsteen – was captured by photographers motoring around Los Angeles with his wife, Patti, in their black C2 Corvette Sting Ray convertible on Thursday. He even flashed a peace sign to the paparazzi.

After all the success of the Star Wars series, Mark Hamill came down to earth in 1978, so to speak, and immediately starred in Corvette Summer, which has turned into a cult favorite, especially among Corvette enthusiasts.

This week, Hamill was again in the news with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, director J.J. Abrams, and several young actors as plans were announced for Star Wars Episode VII, with Hamill, Ford, and Fisher reprising their roles from the original 1977 blockbuster as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia, respectively.

Le Mans 1960: Corvette's Dramatic Debut

In the summer heat of Le Mans, France in June of 1960, Corvette took to its first steps onto the stage of world endurance racing at the 24 Heures du Mans. Three were entered by Briggs Cunningham’s racing team and the fourth by Lloyd “Lucky” Casner’s Camoradi USA team. Sir Paul McCartney and his Blue C5 Corvette Seen in Beverly Hills

If you’re a fan of the legendary Beatles, and more specifically, Sir Paul McCartney, you might want to be on the lookout for a blue C5 Corvette convertible if you happen to be in California.

Check out these photos of a rather dapper, though casual, McCartney as he took his C5 Corvette on a “long and winding road” Tuesday that ended at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Last Wednesday, another kind of history – though still related to the space program – was on display in the Rocket Garden at the space center.

That’s when Merritt Island’s Joe Crosby brought one of the most historic Corvettes ever made so a group of Corvette Enthusiasts from the National Corvette Museum could see it first hand.
