Looking for a great “one size fits all” gift for your favorite Corvette enthusiast? Give them a copy of the “The Quest” documentary on DVD. Based on the story of Corvette’s first win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, “The Quest” tells the story of how one man’s dream to find and restore the winning Le Mans race car was cut short and how his son set out to fulfill his dad’s dream of returning the Corvette to Le Mans with its original driver to mark the 50th anniversary of its historic win.
One of the criticisms that has long dogged the Corvette Team throughout the C6′s production has been the perceived lack of quality in the Corvette’s interior. We’ve been hearing about the how the 2014 C7 Corvette will rectify these issues and the third video trailer released this morning on Chevy’s One13Thirteen.com countdown site takes direct aim at the C7′s new interior. Called, “CRAFT”, it sets to redefine the narrative by showing the construction of a hand-crafted interior featuring fine materials.
Here is an interesting Corvette spotted on the Boulevard inside the National Corvette Museum. It’s a 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible with the 60th Anniversary package. But as you can see, the Corvette is also wearing the same Indy 500 graphics that the 2013 Corvette ZR1 wore as the Pace Car for the Greatest Spectacle in Racing earlier this year in May.
If you’ve been around the Corvette hobby for awhile then you have most likely seen examples of Scott Teeter’s Corvette artwork. Scott has been illustrating Corvettes since the mid-seventies and his column The Illustrated Corvette Series has run in every issue of VETTE magazine since the Spring of 1997.
Scott’s artistry is on display at www.IllustratedCorvetteSeries.com and his Corvette drawings would make a great gift for the Corvette enthusiast in your life! Check out some of Scott’s latest work, the Corvette Postage Stamp Series.
Folks can get pretty fanatical about icons like Corvettes and the Rolling Stones.
Witness this 1968 Chevrolet Corvette that has been transformed into a rolling monument to what some refer to as “The World’s Great Rock and Roll Band.”

Fitch died in the early morning hours of October 31, 2012. He was 95 years old.
Earlier this month, players of Sony PlayStation’s Gran Turismo 5 spotted the Camouflaged C7 Corvette as a screensaver and speculation was that the car would be revealed after the real-life C7 Corvette was publically displayed on 1.13.13. Well, the surprise was on us as Chevrolet and Sony annouced that gamers would be allowed the first-of-its-kind driving experience by offering the Camouflaged C7 test Corvette for download and driving today on Gran Turismo 5.
Paul McCartney is, well, Paul McCartney. And a Corvette is, well, a Corvette.
When you put the two together, you produce unimaginable respect.
For example, TMZ is currently showing a video of Sir Paul in his daily driver around Los Angeles – a blue C5 convertible – as he pulls into a loading zone at LAX to let his girlfriend Nancy Shevell out at the airport.
Country music has long celebrated Chevrolets with more mentions of the Bow-tie brand and its models turning up in more songs than one can count. And not only do Country music stars sing about Chevys, but they drive them too. Recognizing the close association between Country music stars and their Chevrolets, the National Corvette Museum has put together a special exhibit called “Country Music Stars and Cars” which features Chevrolet vehicles owned by various country music celebrities.
