Here’s a pretty funny video of two guys in a old VW who chase down a pre-production Corvette Z06 prototype as it pulls into a Walmart in Yuma, AZ. The driver of the Corvette greets the two and answers some basic questions before heading inside, although we found it interesting that he further confuses them by referring to the Corvette by its Z07 equipment package instead of the model designation which is indeed the Z06.
The Chicago Auto Show opened on Thursday for the media and now we can check out some photos of the black Corvette Stingray driven by Scarlett Johansson’s character Natasha Romanov AKA Black Widow in Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
We know that Joe Biden loves his 1967 Corvette. But after seeing the new Corvette Stingray and Z06 at last month’s NAIAS, we’re pretty sure that the country’s vice president has a severe case of Corvette Fever for the new models.
Our Corvette-loving Vice President was captured on video talking to the UAW Legislative Conference on Wednesday. After highlighting several new autos from the different automakers, Biden ask the crowd to indulge him as he makes some comments about the new Corvette Stingray and the upcoming Corvette Z06.
During last year’s filming of the second installment of Marvel Entertainment’s Captain America, we learned that one of the main characters would be driving a new Corvette Stingray. But you won’t have to wait for the release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier on April 4th to see the new Corvette. The movie car will be make its world premiere along side 14 other Chevrolet cars and trucks at the Chicago Auto Show later this week.

One of the coolest prizes in all of sports is the awarding of a Corvette for being MVP. Over the last few years, Corvettes have been given to Super Bowl MVPs Eli Manning and Joe Flacco, as well as baseball’s Mariano Rivera who won Major League Baseball’s All Star MVP last July.
But sadly, no Corvette will be offered this year to the Super Bowl MVP. Instead, Chevrolet has officially confirmed to us that they will be offering the games most valuable player a new Silverado High Country pick up truck.

Maybe this is what the boss has to say when your competition is smashing you in the sales – and critical reviews – departments.
“We’ve never tried to be Corvette. We never will be. We’re handmade. It takes 18 hours to paint the stripe on a Viper. We color sand the entire car, inside and outside. All the panels are beautifully finished. We’re trying to build a custom show car that you can own. This is not a disposable device here.”
You know the Corvette Z06, any red blooded auto enthusiast does! This head turning, track dominating, ultra-performance sports car has inspired both racers and the everyday Corvette lover to add a little more excitement to their lives. The unique features of the 2015 Z06 are grabbing headlines and causing many of us to check how much equity we have in our house, and it’s not even on sale yet.
However, the new Z06 isn’t the only one that’s ever made waves in the auto industry — well actually, every time a Z06 has rolled off an assembly line, it’s been a game changer in the industry. We could talk about the Z06 all day long (and what a great day that would be), but we’d rather show you the distinctions of this glorious automobile with this awesome infographic.
It’s time for Throwback Thursday where we feature vintage photos of Corvettes. Today’s selection is a vintage Chevrolet ad celebrating the 1956 Corvette that won its class at the 1956 12 Hours of Sebring. This same Corvette, dubbed “The Real McCoy” will be auctioned Saturday afternoon at Mecum’s Kissimmee auction.
