The diverse collection contains about 150 stunning muscle cars, exotics, classics, as well as several of LPE’s latest creations. NY Governor Andrew Cuomo attended a Corvette show Sunday in East Meadow, N.Y., driving his 1975 Bright Blue Corvette that he bought in college for $4,750.

Corvettes on eBay: 1977 Rat Rod Custom Corvette Pickup

We wish we could say no Corvettes were harmed in the making of this rat rod but this does appear to be another case of when customizing goes too far. For sale on eBay is a 1977 Corvette with the front end from 1939 Plymouth pickup. I remember seeing this Corvette a year or two ago on Jalopnik and the reaction I had then of being horrified while at the same time impressed with the time and workmanship that went into creating such a beast returned. This custom rat rod is back on eBay and now you have the opportunity to own this unique mashup of American performance and down-on-the-farm ingenuity.

[VIDEO] Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition Competes for Motor Trend's Best Driver's Car

When Motor Trend had the 2012 Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition in their garage a month ago, not only did they test the car against last year’s Z06, but they also put it up against 10 other sports cars in a comparison test Motor Trend calls the “Best Driver’s car”. These big time productions rarely produce anything more than bragging rights in the comments section and a steady supply of cool automotive videos. Normally I would jump right in and start dissecting the results, but after seeing the Corvette’s ranking and who these wizards of smart voted a better driver’s car than the Z06, I think I might just go ahead and skip to the cool videos.
