2007 Corvette Z06 Donated to the National Corvette Museum

Many Corvette enthusiasts have loved the car all their lives.

Cliff Young actually was a Mustang fan for most of his life, but then around the age of 60, he was bitten by the Corvette bug after a trip to a high performance driving school in 2006.

That convinced him it was time for a Corvette!

The Annual Corvette Enthusiast's Night Before Christmas 2014

Since CorvetteBlogger’s founding in 2005, we’ve celebrated Christmas with the posting of a special Corvette version of Twas the Night Before Christmas. Over the last few years, our friend Rick Tavel from Corvetted.com has taken the poem one step further by customizing it so that it references the major Corvette-related events that occurred throughout the year.

Some of the events referenced in his new 2014 version include the debut of the C7.R Corvette racer, the NCM Sinkhole that swallowed eight Corvettes and Chevrolet’s banner sales year for the Stingray.

So now that it is the night before Christmas, gather up the children and take a seat next to the big block Vette in the garage for our annual Corvette Enthusiast’s Night Before Christmas:

C7 Corvette Stingray Rendered as a Hennessey HPE2000 Drag Car

Some say the best photoshops are those that are somewhat based in reality. The reality is that when you see this “Hennessey HPE2000 Corvette Stingray drag car” for the first time, you may think it’s real. After all, Hennessey Performance Engineering has made a name for themselves not only bring more and more horsepower to the Corvette Stingray, but also with their radical Venom GT program as well.

But alas, this is just a photoshop, “created for competition” says the note that goes along with the posting by RC82 WORKCHOP on Facebook.

We told you a few weeks ago about the sale of the mysterious Peter Max collection of Corvettes.

Apparently there’s more to the story now.

A lawsuit filed recently claims that the psychedelic pop artist of the 1960s – who once painted an entire Boeing 777 and a 600-foot stage for the Woodstock Music Festival – hasn’t paid two New York men the commissions he allegedly promised them for handling the sale of the 36 Corvettes.

[PICS] C5 Corvette Wins Our WTF Award With Tacky Stick-On Upgrades

Okay, we don’t actually have a “WTF Award” but if we did, this red C5 Corvette from the state of Washington would be a major contender. We haven’t seen a Corvette this messed up since the infamous Dragon Vette.

A Corvette Forum moderator named MasterDave spotted this Corvette in a Pet’s Mart parking lot in Federal Way, Washington.

Normally we have a “Let the Corvette owner customize his ride” attitude but sometimes customizing goes too far. We warn you. What you are about to see cannot be unseen…
