Corvette Museum Member Establishes Education Endowment for Underprivileged Children

A Corvette owner with a big heart has plans to make life better for sick and underprivileged kids.

After Patricia, his wife of 44 years, died in 2009, Eugene Nagowski decided to honor her memory by doing nice things for other people. Already, he’s made donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for medical care and expenses of families staying there for treatment.

But, as the fun-loving owner of a 2010 Corvette, Nagowski decided there would be no better way to spread a little joy than setting up an endowment at the National Corvette Museum, to allow underprivileged kids a chance to spend a day there enjoying the world’s greatest sports car.

Paul Newman’s Last Corvette Racer Headed to RM’s Amelia Island Auction

The last car raced by renowned actor Paul Newman will be one of the features at RM Auctions’ Amelia Island sale next month in Florida. As lot #130, Newman’s 2002 #83 SCCA Corvette racer will cross the block on March 10, 2012. Newman raced the car from 2003 to 2007 and was victorious in it at his last race one year before he died in 2008.

[VIDEO] Whistleblower Raises Questions on Corvette Dream Giveaway Charity

You’ve probably seen the ubiquitous flyers about the Kids Wish Network, which for years has raffled off a pair of Corvettes (usually a “Hero” edition ZR1 and a classic Midyear) to raise money to grant the wishes of dying and sick children.

Now a Tampa TV station alleges that the Florida-based kids’ charity organization is spending only 12 cents of every dollar it raises to actually grant those wishes.

Callaway Cars Announces the Return of RPO B2K with Special 25th Anniversary Edition

Motor Trend’s newest web show is called “Head2Head” and its all about comparisions of two similar cars.
