Corvette enthusiasts are getting a sneak peek at some of the memorabilia that will be included in a 100th Anniversary Time Capsule being gathered by Mid America Motorworks.

A lifelong love of Chevrolet and Corvettes has put a Pennsylvania man in the record books.
Charlie Mallon’s mom says he could tell a Corvette from other cars by the time he was 3 years old. Fittingly, she gets the credit for helping him get started with his record-setting collection of Chevrolet memorabilia that now numbers more than 2,200 (and is continually growing).
And it is official. Back in May, the Guinness Book of World Records officially certified Mallon’s collection as the largest collection of Chevrolet memorabilia in the world after making him jump through all sorts of hoops.
One of the hardest working vendors you will see at a major Corvette show are the guys from Adam’s Premium Car Care Products. Every time we walked by their booth at Corvettes at Carlisle, they had a different Corvette parked in front and several detailers hard at work demonstrating Adam’s products to the assembled crowds.
We caught up with Adam Pitale, founder and President of Adam’s, who was very excited to tell us about their exclusive line of car care products branded and endorsed by GM for the Corvette and Camaro. So we tagged along and had the opportunity to see some of them demonstrated to members of GM’s Corvette Team.
Former Corvette Racing driver Andy Pilgrim is in Bowling Green, KY this weekend for his induction into the National Corvettes Museum’s Corvette Hall of Fame. When he arrived at the Museum, he was greeted by this 427 Convertible that pays tribute to the driver’s service to Corvette.

We’ve closed the hood on yet another Corvettes at Carlisle show weekend. The 31st annual event was held last weekend at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, PA. After a shortened event last year due to Hurricane Irene, we were glad to see this show back firing on all cylinders. Great weather nearly all weekend provided the perfect backdrop on one of the best Carlisle shows yet.
Last month, one of the lingering automotive mysteries surrounding Corvette’s first campaign at the 24 Hours of Le Mans was solved. Of course we’re talking about the finding of the Briggs Cunningham 1960 #1 Le Mans Corvette racer which has been lost for 50 years. On Thursday evening with a crowd of Corvette illuminaries and enthusiasts, the former race car was revealed.
Here’s the official 2012 Woodward Dream Cruise video from Chevrolet. Gearheads and Corvette enthusiasts alike need to add this event to their bucket list.
