These Kid Racers in their Power Wheels is the Funniest Video You Will See All Day

Sometimes competition can’t be measured by simple finish lines painted on the asphalt.

Take this case on Thursday when the top three finishers in the “Kids Race” at Kingsport Speedway decided to keep on truckin’. Maybe they thought this was a 600-mile race and not just a few feet, huh?

Quadriplegic Racer Sam Schmidt to Drive Semi-Autonomous Corvette on Long Beach Grand Prix Course

The tale of Sam Schmidt is inspiring on so many levels.

Schmidt, of course, is the former Indy driver who became a quadriplegic in 2000 after an accident at a Florida race track.

Fast forward to 2015, though, and Schmidt is miraculously back behind the wheel of a black Corvette C7 Stingray.

Today’s kids are tomorrow’s Corvette enthusiasts.

[PICS] Corvette Vanity Plates from the 12 Hours of Sebring Corvette Corral

One of the great things you can do as a Corvette owner is to support the factory Corvette C7.Rs by going to one of the TUDOR United Sports Car races held around the Country. And Chevrolet makes it real easy to go by sponsoring a Corvette Corral at select races where owners can safely park their cars, listen to seminars from Doug Fehan, Harlan Charles and Ron Fellows as well as enjoy the camaraderie that we share with other Corvette owners.

Arriving this weekend at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, we were amazed to see a record number of attendees who parked their cars in the Corvette Corral. From C1s to C7 Z06s, there was a little something for everyone parked under the bright Florida sun.

[VIDEO] Man Lets a Homeless Guy Drive His Corvette Stingray

Here’s a video that’s sure to make you think about lucky you’ve got it.

A young man named Drey tells us that he and his friend Vic like to make videos and share them on the Internet. “We just like to entertain, have fun, and like to film the dumb/funny things we do,” they say on their website.

In the past, they’ve done some pretty crazy things, like the time Drey challenged beautiful girls to a game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors” with the payoff getting a kiss from the lady if he wins or getting Tasered by her if he loses! That’s some high stakes.

But in this video, Drey and Vic are not that wild and crazy. They are just out to help their fellow man and in the process they manage to touch the hearts of many of their viewers, at least the less skeptical ones.

Let me ask you a question.

Did you eat a lot of ice cream with sprinkles when you were a little kid?

Well, now that you’re all grown up and wearing your big-boy britches, you’d better quit eating it because ice cream with sprinkles is just for kids.

If you follow the logic of some folks who apparently believe that a Corvette driver must be under 30 with jet black hair and a 30-inch waistline, then it makes just as much sense to ban anyone over the age of 12 from eating ice cream with sprinkles.

Just a string of coincidences or a guiding hand from above?

You decide.

Dawn Hughes grew up in a family that loved Corvettes. In fact, for years her dad drove a 1964 Sting Ray convertible that he loved, but he eventually had to sell the car.

But not before he passed on his love of Corvettes to Dawn. In fact, she saved all she could for years to get one of her own. During what turned out to be their last conversation about Corvettes, her dad smiled and said, “I want to be there when you get it.”

Former Barn Find 1960 Corvette Has Great Story Behind it

The story behind a Corvette is what makes it stand out in a crowd.

Take this 1960 Corvette, which has had just two very conscientious owners since rolling out of the factory in St. Louis, Mo., not once but twice.

The original owner, a teacher named Ed Graye from West Frankfort, Ill., ordered the car with the “big” 290hp, fuel-injected 283 engine with a three-speed manual because he wanted to drag race it on the streets.
