Unfortunately, one C4 Corvette owner’s car was smashed after a large shed had taken flight and landed on his red sports car.

A red 2012 Corvette came to rest nose-first in a canal in Royal Palm Beach, Florida early Monday morning.
The two passengers in the car, which was rented from Hertz, were able to make their way out of the car and apparently suffered only minor injuries. Fortunately, a witness headed to work saw the accident and called 911 for help.
A Corvette owner and his passenger went for a wild ride earlier this week according to ABC’s 10News.com in San Diego. Witnesses say they saw the silver C5 Z06 speeding and making a “screeching noise” before the driver lost control and hit a fire hydrant before coming to rest on its roof.
Miraculously, both the driver and passenger climbed out of upside down Corvette on their own, but the accident did send the passenger to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

What took a 65-year-old Staunton, Missouri man a lifetime to collect was destroyed overnight Thursday in a fire that gutted his two garages containing three Corvettes and related memorabilia.
“This was my whole life,” an emotional John Hibbeler told stltoday.com reporter Kim Bell. “It took me 45 years to get to this position, and I lost it all in one night.”
He lost it all thanks to a small brush fire that got out of control, fire officials said.
When you think of iconic c1 Corvettes, mostly likely the image conjured in your head is that of the classic roadster painted red with white coves.
Now imagine that it’s your Corvette and by the way, it’s on fire!
The old “I hit the accelerator instead of the brake” trick resulted in an unusual sight in Albuquerque on Monday: the rear end of a Corvette sticking out the front window.
Seems a senior citizen in her white C4 Corvette pulled that stunt as she was driving into the parking lot of the Great Harvest Bread Company on Montgomery Boulevard and Juan Tabo Boulevard N.E. in the El Dorado Square Shopping Center.
