GM's Reuss Confirms the C8 Corvette is Already in Development

During an event last week to promote the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, General Motors global product manager Mark Reuss addressed the crowd and talked about some of the issues facing the automaker in the wake of a series of recalls and an ongoing investigation into faulty ignition switches.

2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible to Pace the Inaugural IndyCar Grand Prix of Indianapolis

A new chapter at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway kicks off this week with the running of the first ever IndyCar Series Grand Prix of Indianapolis this weekend and the Corvette Stingray will be up front for all the action.

Barrett-Jackson to Sell First Production 2015 Corvette Z06 at Palm Beach Auction

Back in January, GM unveiled the highly anticipated C7 Z06 at the North American International Auto Show. According to the General Motors, the 2015 Corvette Z06 will be “the most track-capable Corvette ever, designed to deliver supercar levels of performance through unique powertrain, chassis and aerodynamic features.” Corvette enthusiasts from around the world have been waiting for the reintroduction of the legendary model and if you want to be the owner of the new Z06, VIN 001, then you need to be in Palm Beach, Florida for the Barrett-Jackson auction that runs April 11th through 13th.

During a press conference at the NCM today, General Motors pledged to restore all eight Corvettes that were damaged when the sinkhole opened under the floor in the Skydome on Wednesday. The Corvettes will be restored to their former glory and overseeing that restoration will be GM’s Vice President of Global Design Ed Welburn.
