The driver of this blue C6 Corvette coupe apparently decided to make a new drive-through at a Chevron gas station in Birmingham, Alabama.
Check out this photo of the Corvette, with its rear end damaged after smashing into the station around 6 p.m. on Bankhead Highway.
It’s hard to tell exactly from the photo whether the car smashed through a door or a window, but the biggest takeaway for us concerns the posts that are supposed to keep such an accident from happening, we thought.
Either this Corvette narrowly fit through the line of safety posts outside the store and was able to smash into it, or it knocked down one of the posts and then rolled into the store.
Regardless, the good thing is that no one was hurt in the crash, according to WTVM-13 news.
No word yet on exactly how the accident happened.
