The 2018 Jeff Gordon Corvette for a Cure website has gone live today.
Since 2006, the NASCAR legend has donated his personal Corvette as a fundraiser to help his Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation. The Corvette program has raised nearly $7 million for pediatric cancer research and helped open the Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital and the Butaro Cancer Center of Excellence. Last year’s raffle raised $1 million for the foundation.
This year, Gordon is raffling off his beautiful 60th Anniversary 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition that stickered for $90,490.
Of course, the car has a phenomenal 427 cubic inch LS7 engine that produces 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque with its 6-speed manual transmission. It goes from 0 to 60 in 3.8 seconds and covers the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds with a top speed of 190+.
The Arctic White exterior features full-length racing stripes in Pearl Silver Blue, including a tonal stripe stitched into the blue convertible top extending the graphic theme over the roof, and a Blue Diamond leather-wrapped interior with suede accents.
The car has a ZR1-style rear spoiler, special badging, gray-painted brake calipers and “60th” logo on wheel center caps, steering wheel and seat headrests.
Other highlights include a carbon fiber raised hood, Z06-style fenders, floor panels, and “CFZ” carbon fiber front splitter and rocker panels, along with 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels wrapped in ZR1-style Michelin PS2 tires.
