I know this may be last minute, but we wanted to mention a great Corvette show happening this weekend in Panama City Beach, Florida. Members of the Dothan, AL-based Circle City Corvette Club are hosting their 38th Annual Corvette Caravan to the Beach. The special guest for the show is Kirk Bennion, Corvette’s Exterior Design Manager.
The weekend features a number of various events including a Corvette show, seminars and a Corvette memorabilia auction with proceeds benefiting the National Corvette Museum. The items can be previewed on Facebook and here’s just a sampling:
The SONIC Corvette Performance Tool Chest shown was owned by Corvette Racing’s No. 4 C7.R crew chief Brian Hoye. You’ll see it’s signed by the drivers too!
Saturday is the big day in Panama City Beach. There is a judged Corvette show at the Edgewater Beach Resort from 8am-3pm. A seminar will be held on the new 2019 Corvette by Kirk Bennion at 9:30 am, and a special dinner at 6:00 pm with the auction to follow.

If you’re interested in info on perhaps the largest all Corvette show on the West Coast, “Corvettes on the Columbia” in Kennewick, Washington, sponsored by the 3 Rivers Corvette Club, let me know. The show n shine is scheduled for Saturday, June 2. Over the past couple of years we’ve had more than 200 Corvettes from all over the West Coast and the Pacific Northwest attend the two-day event.
