[VIDEO] 2019 Corvette ZR1 Hot Laps with Tony Kanaan at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Chevrolet has been conducting all kinds of business out in Las Vegas this week and some of that business is happening on the track at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Chevrolet driver Tony Kanaan was enlisted for providing hot laps in a 2019 Corvette ZR1 and this new video shows off some of the capabilities of the latest model in the C7 Corvette line-up.

The 2019 Corvette ZR1 comes packed with an SAE-certified 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque. This ZR1 is equipped with the 8-speed automatic transmission and the optional ZTK Performance Package which includes the high wing spoiler that provides an estimated 950 pounds of downforce.

Kanaan really lets the ZR1 show off its power and he’s not the first to say his favorite feature is the carbon ceramic brakes from Brembo that really aids in the cornering of the car at high speeds adding, “for a street car it’s pretty impressive”.
