Lingenfelter Announces New High Flow Direct Injection Fuel System Kit

Ok, everyone now use your best Jeremy Clarkson voice and shout “POWWEEERRR!!!”

If you’re looking for more power out of your Corvette our good friends over at Lingenfelter have a Valentine’s treat for you.

They’ve just taken the wraps off of their new High Flow Direct Injection Fuel System kit. Once installed, the new system will support up to 1,400 hp and 1,200 lb-ft of torque on General Motors Gen V V8’s.

The kit consists of eight flow matched 27 gps injectors, a 12mm bore fuel pump, and a LPE GT35 camshaft with a 7.85 mm fuel pump lobe. The injectors feature a patented kinetic nozzle geometry that allows for high flow rates without sacrificing atomization. Altogether, this new system yields a pump displacement of 2.6cc per camshaft revolution. Flow testing has shown volumetric efficiency of over 90%.

For us Corvette folks, the system will fit your LT1 or LT4 powered C7. We imagine they’ve got something else up their sleeves for the new LT5 as well, but we’ll have to wait and see. Patience, Grasshopper. The system will also fit LT-based Camaros, CTS-V’s, Silverados, Sierras, Tahoes, Escalades, and Yukons.

Lingenfelter’s new High Flow Direct Injection Fuels system kit can be ordered under part number L700046914 on their website and retails for $5,995.00.
