The 2019 Corvette ZR1 reveal has come and went and now many Corvette enthusiasts are wanting to know more about America’s newest supercar! If you want even more information about the fastest and most powerful Corvette ever offered, check out the Corvette ZR1 page at Chevrolet.com.
The website offers a detailed look at the various functions and components of the Corvette ZR1 with several graphics providing an interactive look at the new 755-hp supercar. The site is divided into sections titled “The Finest”, “The Greatest” and “The Smartest”.
The Finest section details the design and functions of the ZR1, from the front grille to the rear exhaust, an interactive graphic shows close-ups of various components while the sound of the LT5 at idle can be heard in the background. The hood section shows a closeup of the beautiful chevron-patterned carbon fiber halo hood and engine cover.
The Greatest section concentrates on the engine and chassis of the Corvette ZR1 with details on the engine, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
One of the new photos not really shown is a detailed view of the new LT5 V8. The new engine features a first for Chevrolet – the dual fuel injection system – that utilizies a port fuel rail and injectors that provide a supplemental fuel for the car when under heavy throttle, or “power enrichment moments” as Chevy calls it on the website:
The Smartest section is for those that like to get into the technical aspects of the car, with one interactive graphic showing lift and downforce with the low wing vs high wing. A cooling graphic shows the airflow around the car while discussing how five additional raditors including four new front outboard raditors to keep the engine cool:
The official ZR1 website also allows you request 2019 Corvette ZR1 updates. You can add your name to receive Corvette ZR1 information direct from Chevrolet.
