Back in the 1970s, the Greenwood-style widebody kit was popular with customizers who wanted an unusual C3 Corvette.
This 1972 Corvette factory convertible appears to have been treated to such a transformation, maybe from an Eckler’s kit.
Now it’s up for sale on craigslist in Casper, Wyoming, where the seller is asking $6500 for this unusual Corvette that would definitely draw some looks.
Whether those looks are appreciative might be up for debate.
The seller says it’s an “easy restore project.” That might be up for debate, too, though you can get plenty of looks at the body and interior through a collection of photos on his ad and make that decision for yourself.
Before a small fire in the 350 engine compartment, the automatic-transmission car ran fine, according to the seller.
He believes the Corvette has “excellent potential” and is a “real head turner.”
