[VIDEO] Sights and Sounds of the Larbre Competition's Corvette C7.R at Monza

It’s always great to see Larbre Competition with their “French American” Corvette C7.R in action. They are campaigning Corvette Racing’s former chassis at Le Mans next month in LMGTE-AM. But before heading to La Sarthe, the French-based racing team traveled to Italy where the European Le Mans Series made its first stop at Autodromo Nazionale Monza since 2008.

The Corvette C7.R scored sixth in the LMGTE class at Monza but more important was the team accomplishing their main objective: running through the procedures the team will face at Le Mans.

The Corvette race cars are known for the unique sound that emanates from the Chevy V8s with their signature low-end rumble. At the heart of the C7.Rs and its C6.R predecessor is the performance-balanced 5.5 liter V8 engine producing around 500 horsepower.

To prove our point, Larbre Competitions’s “French American” Corvette C7.R was captured rumbling through Monza on this video, so turn up the speakers and enjoy this preview of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
