~I have traveled and attended Corvette events both for Chevrolet and for myself thru out the USA since Summer of 1978. This past week I attended Corvette school at Spring Mountain Race Track in Pahrump, Nevada with a Dozen of my Corvette customers, many of them I had never met as they chose to do business over the phone across the Country and either took delivery at the Corvette Museum, Courtesy delivery at their local Chevrolet dealer or had picked a Corvette out of my inventory and I shipped it enclosed trailer to their driveway. 80% of my 400+ Corvette sales per year are done across state lines so after 39 years of selling Corvettes I have many customers that I have never met.

The plan was Sunday night to meet at the Clubhouse at Spring Mountain at 6pm and all attended. I ordered several pizza’s and the bar was open plus I brought along goodie bags for everyone. We all talked and watched Sunday Night Football. Most turned in early as we all had come from afar. Up early for Breakfast and Registration we learned that we would be training on the East Track. I have been there a dozen times but I had never been on that track as it’s only been open 18 mos.

Rick Malone’s staff of Pro Instructors were just as advertised, Professional. Richie Hearns led the way both days and he is great to work with. Richie has a tremendous driving background having raced in the Indy 500 7 times. Below are pictures from our days spent at the track in Pahrump.
