You can’t go wrong with the classic lines of a 1967 restomod on eBay, where the bid has reached $63,000 with two days to go, likely nowhere near the reserve that it will take to put this beauty in your own garage.
The seller, American Dream Machines out of Iowa, didn’t include much information about the car on the eBay listing, preferring we assume to let the car do all the talking.
They did point out that the car has a 632 cubic inch aluminum head engine that produces a whopping 815 horsepower hooked up to a five-speed manual transmission. On a special video at the listing, you can see it – and hear it – in action doing donuts in a parking lot surrounded by all kinds of other cool classic cars and trucks!
We like the way they didn’t go overboard with the customization, with the body looking pretty much stock other than the raised hood to give that big engine room to breathe. The silver paint looks a foot deep over the black interior, which looks stock other than a custom shifter and a blank spot in the center console where the radio would be.
Guess that engine provides all the music you need. This car definitely means business, so there’s no storage room in the area behind the seats, which is taken up with a roll cage.
And we absolutely love the huge tires in the back to keep all the power connected to the road. If the straight-on rear view and three-quarter rear view of this car don’t get your heart pounding, you’re not a true Corvette enthusiast!
Take a look for yourself. Just be sure to clean up the drool when you’re done!
