The Sorensons are Latest Corvette Enthusiasts to Join the NCM Motorsports Park One Acre Club

Carter and Becky Sorenson are the latest Corvette fans to join the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park Acre Club.

The Acre Club gives enthusiasts a chance to sponsor land at the motorsports park, which is offering 17 additional acres for sponsorship after a tract was purchased to build a berm.

Since the Sorensons are loyal Stingray enthusiasts, having first purchased a 2014 Corvette and then touring the assembly plant to watch their 2016 Z06 being built in March, they’re no strangers to the facility.

“We have visited the museum a few times, and we have had the opportunity to go to the track twice so far, once with our 2014 Stingray and once with our Z06,” Carter said.

They’ll be heading to Bowling Green again later this month and then again in August to run their Z06 on the NCM track.

“We consider it to be our home track,” they said, “so we figured that sponsoring an acre was something that we should do.”

The Sorensons and other members of the Acre Club will be recognized on the permanent donor wall at Holley Control Tower, which just opened during a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week.

Sponsors of these acres will have a place on the permanent donor wall at Holley Control Tower, which officially opened with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, July 13.

Donors are also given an honorary framed deed for their acre, are listed on the Motorsports Park website, and get the first shot at buying exclusive Acre Club merchandise.

If you’d like to join them, you might want to hurry since less than 10 acres remains at a price of a $15,000 tax deductible donation per acre, payable by the last day of 2016.
