One less C5 Corvette, out of what we assume is a very small number to begin with, is roadworthy in British Columbia after a crash on Saturday afternoon.

After the red coupe left Lower Bench Road in Pinticton, it left a strange-looking collection of parts along the side of the road. A photo shows the front of the Corvette suffering apparently only minor damage, but the entire rear clip is sitting next to it – upside down!

The damage occurred after the Corvette swiped a fire hydrant, knocked out a fence, and then hit a pole before finally coming to a halt.

Fortunately, though, the two men inside were able to walk to an ambulance with only minor injuries.

Besides smashing up the Corvette, the driver is also being investigated by the RCMP for speeding.
