The ADAC GT3 Masters Series in Europe is hosting a two-day test session at Germany’s Oschersleben race circuit in advance of the series first race and that event has given us the opportunity to check out the C7 Callaway Corvette GT3-Rs dressed in their race liveries for the first time.

Callaway Competition is running their own GT3 program with two C7 Callaway Corvettes. The cars are sponsored by Whelen Engineering with veteran drivers Eric Curran and Boris Said and AutoArenA.de with drivers Patrick Assenheimer and Daniel Keilwitz.

The C7 Callaway Corvette GT3 was first unveiled last October at the ADAC GT Masters Season Finale in Germany. The C7-based GT3 Racer will be taking the place of Callaway’s C6-based Z06.R GT3. The Z06.Rs were one of the most successful race cars in ADAC GT Masters history with 23 wins.

The ADAC GT Masters series will kick off its season at Oschersleben Motorsport Arena with two races on April 16th-17th. Follow our friends at Corvette Motorsport for all the Corvette racing action in Europe.
