Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Week of January 24th

Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays and Z06s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top Corvette seller.

Last week at Criswell Chevrolet had Mike delivering the last of the 2016 Corvettes in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic, a color that has been discountinued from production. We see a beautiful DOSM Corvette Z06 Coupe as well as a Stingray Coupe. Mike also has photos showing a Spice Red packaged Corvette Z06 Convertible that was sent to Callaway for an upgrade to 757 hp before being shipped back to the NCM for an R8C Museum Delivery.

I had some time this week to reflect on my career selling Corvettes as I have had so many great memories. The Corvette is unlike any other Sports Car in regards to the World Wide Love affair that people across the Globe have for America’s 63 yr old beauty. Most people have owned more than one and if they haven’t…they will. I myself have owned 15 Corvettes with no end in sight. I pine for a 1963 Split Window but it was the Magazine articles on the 1978 Indy 500 Pace Car Spring of 1978 that got my head turned. The rest is history. ~Dallas W of Moreno Valley, Calif. contacted me a few months back as he wanted to order a new 2016 Z06 and take courtesy delivery in California. I arranged a drop ship to his local dealer in Chino. Dallas ordered a Daytona Sunrise Orange 2LZ Z06 cpe with 8spd Auto trans, Spectra gray wheels and Nav/PDR.

~Ronnie S of Andersonville, TN called me last week for a Daytona Sunrise Orange Stingray cpe with 7spd manual that we had in stock. Fed Ex back and forth and Plycon trucking is taking his new Corvette to his garage.

~Mike C of Boca Raton, FL bought a 2011 Callaway GS Convt from my inventory 5 yrs ago and this time he factory ordered his Callaway Z06. Mike chose to wait for the Spice Red Pkg on his Z06/Z07 and 8spd Auto Trans. Not only did it get the Callaway Supercharge upgrade to 757 HP but Mike and his wife are taking delivery at the Corvette Museum.

~Dave S from Allen, TX is a Forum member and Corvette guy but he called me up this past week and bought a used 2013 Camaro ZL1 Convt from me. Fed Ex’d the paperwork and Plycon Trucking will take it to his driveway next week.

~Last week we had a customer trade in TWO (2) Challenger Hellcat’s for a used 2015 Z06 Convt in Gray with Red interior. All cars involved had 400-800 miles on the odometer. The allure of the Z06 Convt was too much for him and the Hellcat’s came and went.
