Chevrolet gathered its motorsports champions together today at GM’s Heritage Center for a unique photo op to celebrate another successful year of racing.

During 2015, Chevrolet earned six manufacturer and five driver championships in NASCAR, IndyCar, NHRA, USCC and the Pirelli World Challenge. Chevy also had major wins at the Indianapolis 500, NHRA U.S. Nationals and Corvette Racing’s Grand Slam wins at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Chevrolet issued a press release today celebrating the season:

“Winning championships and key races are two goals we have every season,” said Jim Campbell, Chevrolet U.S. vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports. “What we learn on the race track helps us build better vehicles and powertrains for the showroom. Winning races and championships helps elevate brand opinion and image. Consumers are more likely to place our cars and trucks on their shopping list.”

“We’re proud of the Chevrolet drivers, teams and crews that delivered wins and championships that made 2015 another successful race season,” Campbell said.

Team Chevrolet tweeted a photo featuring the drivers, cars and the trophies earned by the competitors:

Corvette Racing’s Antonio Garcia also tweeted this group photo of the race cars:

Even after I posted this, the tweets keep coming. Here are Chevrolet’s Endurance Racing Champions, Corvette Racing:

Congratulations again to the drivers at Corvette Racing and all the other Chevrolet racing teams for their achievements in 2015. May 2016 bring us many more checkered flags!
