Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Week of October 11th

Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays and Z06s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top Corvette seller.

In this week’s dispatch, Mike catches up and presents us with many deliveries photos taken over the last two weeks. There are some great looking color combinations and we see some great shots of the new Long Beach Red that is now headed out to customers.

Fall in the NorthEast is a great time to drive your Corvette and an ever better time to take delivery. There are no bad color choices as far as I am concerned. ~David K of Muttontown, NY has been a customer of mine since 1991. David factory ordered a 2016 Z06 Cpe in Night Race Blue metallic to match his teenage car, dark blue 1967 442. Yesterday he and his son Lonnie drove down and traded in his 3,000 mile 2011 Aston Martin Vantage.

~Tony and Rebecca from Greenwood, Delaware factory ordered a loaded 3LZ Z06 in Corvette Race Yellow and yesterday Tony got to drive it home. This is Tony’s 3rd Corvette.

~Brett L from Vacaville, CA factory ordered his Laguna Blue Z51 Cpe after flying cross country for a business meeting. He took his lunch break and came to visit me to look at the colors in our inventory. He had a blast doing his Corvette Museum delivery. In his own words.”Here are some quick pictures of my museum delivery today w my son. Thanks for making it happen!!” Brett

~Scott and Michele G of Manchester, MD factory ordered their first Stingray Corvette in Arctic White and the rain wasn’t going to deter them from driving home.

~David F from West Mifflin, PA factory ordered his Torch Red Stingray to be picked up at the Corvette Museum. Here in his own words. “Mike, The R8C Delivery was the thrill of a lifetime! My Delivery Host, Ron Barton, is a retiree from the factory, and he had a very deep knowledge of what was going on during the factory tour, so I got a lot more insight into the why and how the car is built the way it is. I stopped counting the number of workers who called out to Ron as we toured the factory. I was amazed how quickly each job is. Ron said each worker has 3 minutes and 5 seconds to complete their individual jobs. And the car is just the best, from my C4s to my C5s (no C6, but I’ve rented them), they just keep getting better. The 513 miles back home from the Museum gave me ample opportunity to determine this. I’m still smiling…Thanks again Mike, I haven’t received the GM Survey yet, but rest assured you’ll be receiving the highest marks across the board.” David

~Keith M from Chester, VA factory ordered his very first Corvette in Arctic White. He and his brother took the train up to Wash, DC and then our shuttle picked them up at the Shady Grove Metro Stop. Two super nice guys got to drive home to Chester, VA together.

~Last week I received a phone call from the owner of a Jeep, Dodge,Chrysler store in Princeton, NJ. He wanted to buy his Father a Z06 Convt in Shark Gray with gray top and dark Gray interior loaded with Auto trans. Approx 8 ft away from my desk was said car and he wired the money and sent a truck to take it to his Father in Florida.

~S.K. from Fort Mohave, AZ called me a few months ago and factory ordered a 2016 Z06 in Long Beach Red to be delivered and inspected at Criswell and then he wanted Plycon to ship to his driveway. It leaves tomorrow for his house and I know he can’t wait to get it.

~Gary R of Clermont, Fl did the same thing as SK above and here are some pics he took of his Long Beach Red Stingray cpe that he just received. Gary and Keith from Chester, VA are friends and ordered their Vettes on the same day.

~Simon B just moved this week to Derwood, MD from Alexandria, VA and he just took home his 2016 Arctic White/Red/Black Z06 Convt.

~John F and his wife of Henderson, Nevada factory ordered their 6th Corvette and I had some planning to do for them. Their plan was to fly to New York and take a Cruise Ship to Quebec, Canada and then fly from Canada to Wash, DC and then come pick up their new Stingray Cpe. Well their Cruise was booked in stone so I had to make sure their Corvette was built and waiting for them in time for pick up so they can drive back to Nevada. Sounds easy huh? Night Race Blue was his choice and they loved it and everything came off without a hitch.

~Many Corvette customers of mine buy other vehicles. Below is Kand J from Montgomery County, MD with their new 3500 Crew Cab Dualie Diesel Silverado.

~On any given day at Criswell there are Corvettes all over the lot. I am lucky as I like seeing all the different year Corvettes and sharing the pictures. Below is Jim S of VA with his 1992 Polo Green Corvette that he bought new. I have known Jim since Fall 1991! I even sold him his 2005 Corvette Convt that he still owns. Jim just retired as a Judge and a nicer guy would be hard to find. Always enjoy his visits.

~My next door neighbor ordered a Stingray Z51 from me a few months ago and he just sent me these pics as he is at the Spring Mountain Race Track learning all he can!!

~Even Johnny Depp used a Corvette recently at his wedding.
