It’s actually pretty easy to make an exhaust loud, the trick is to make it loud and sound good, too.
That’s the word from Borla Performance Industries in a short video trailer that offers a look at the different kinds of sound available and shipping now for the non-NPP (two-valve) Corvette C7.
“We put a lot of time and effort into making sure that the note is right,” Borla says. “It’s not just loud for the sake of being loud; it’s the perfect note, it’s the right note for the car.”
The video, shot at the legendary Bondurant School of High-Performance Driving, notes that Borla is offering three different sound systems – Touring for a mild growl, S-Type for an aggressive note, and Atak for an aggressive+ sound.
You can find your favorite at www.borla.com/C7. You can view and hear the lineup there, as well as see the two tip styles available in black and bright chrome and check out headers and X-pipes and diffusers, even customize your look with the Visualizer option.
