[PICS] 2016 Corvette Stingray with EYT Carbon Flash Grille and Base Stingray Wheels

In addition to the truckload of new 2016 Corvette Z06s received earlier this week, our friends at Kerbeck Corvette just got their first shipment of 2016 Corvette Stingrays and that gives us the opportunity to share photos of a couple new options and equipment for the new model year.

In the first photo set, Kerbeck shows the front grille of two 2016 Corvette Stingrays. The top picture shows the standard grille with the chrome bar that runs across the middle of the grille. This has been the design since the Stingray’s unveiling in 2013. But many don’t like the look of the chrome bar, especially when their cars are ordered with a heavy dose of black – black wheels, black mirrors and spoilers and the Carbon Flash badges. So for 2016, Chevrolet is offering Option EYT, a Carbon Flash Badge Package which includes a full Carbon Flash Grille without the chrome bar on the Stingrays.

The cost of the EYT option is a very affordable $100.

Kerbeck also shared the new 2016 base (non-Z51) wheels for the Stingray. They do come with center caps which haven’t yet been installed as part of the PDI process. Shown here are the 18/19″ QG6 wheels in Silver-painted aluminum. They will also be available in Black and Chrome:
