Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays and Z06s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top Corvette seller.
In this week’s dispatch, we see many new Corvettes going to new owners including a man who has dreamed of owning a Stingray since 1964. Red is very popular in the service department and a New York Callaway Corvette owner drives over 4 hours just to have Criswell service the car.
~I receive plenty of letters after Corvette Museum/Courtesy or deliveries at Criswell…but I thought I would share a few from this past week. Such as the title to this thread "Thank you so much! It was a magical day! A grown up’s Disney World!" Those words came from Mark Fox of San Antonio, Texas after he took Corvette Museum Delivery of his New 2015 Stingray Z51 cpe in Torch Red with Red 3LT interior. 8spd paddle shift Auto and all the goodies.
~Ryan Vaughan is the lead Designer for the Stingray project. He is a rising star with GM. He asked Harlan Charles about who should his Father order his new 2015 Stingray Z51 cpe from? I received a phone call from Frank Vaughan of Columbia, MD that he would like to order a Laguna Blue with Kalahari 2LT interior, Black wheels, Mag ride with 7spd manual trans. 6 weeks later and Frank and his wife were taking delivery at Criswell.
~Dale D of Cumberland, MD Factory ordered his ’15 Stingray Z51 Convt in Night Race Blue with Kalahari 3LT interior and Black top. 8spd paddle shift was perfect for Dale. Taking delivery at the Corvette Museum was even better. In his own words…."I love my new Corvette. Museum Delivery experience was terrific. And today I proved, yet again, you CAN drive them in the rain! PS: Many, many compliments on the NRB/Kalahari combo. Thank you!"
~Cheryl and John F of Discovery Bay, Calif called me and said its time to order a new Stingray Z51 cpe and Laguna Blue is their color. 2LT and 8spd paddle shift among all the other goodies. Carbon Flash hood stripe set the Cpe off nice. As Cheryl says "We are loving our new Corvette!! Took Corvette Museum delivery and drove West to California!
~Frank D of Arden, North Carolina will have a good time today as he bought a 2015 Velocity Yellow Cpe right off the show room floor over the phone. Plycon Trucking picked it up yesterday and Frank will be behind the wheel today.
~Mike L of Isle of Palms, South Carolina Factory ordered his ’15 Stingray Z51 cpe in Black with 3LT Brownstone interior, 8 spd Auto and Mag Ride Control to be picked up at the Corvette Museum.
~Mike L of Lakeland, FL WON his Stingray Factory Order thru the Richmond Rotary Raffle that I helped with. Mike ordered a Shark Gray Convt with 2LT Kalahari interior and 8spd Auto trans. and he picked it up via a Courtesy delivery in Florida. In his own words " this car is absolutely incredible and well beyond my expectations! Thanks again for all your help in making the purchase and delivery a very enjoyable experience."
~Loren D of Seattle, Washington may have received one of the last Velocity Yellow Z51 Cpe’s built. Loren’s Factory order included Mag Ride, Visible Carbon Fiber roof, Red Calipers, 7spd manual trans Black wheels and Nav/PDR. I had it drop shipped to a Chevrolet Dealer near him so he could take Courtesy delivery.
~Fred G of East Alton, IL factory ordered his new ’15 Z06 Convt in Crystal Red and 3LZ Gray interior and 8spd Auto trans. Fred picked it up at the Corvette Museum and drove home to be paired up with his Callaway Grand Sport.
~Rich Bedard of Frederick, MD ordered his Crystal Red 3LZ Z06 cpe to be paired up with his 2008 Cooksey edition Z06. What a great pair!
~Jimmy D of Medina, Ohio Factory ordered his Z51 cpe in Nightrace Blue with 3LT Kalahari interior and 7spd manual. Jimmy flew in and drove it home and shared some cool Home pics. "Made home fine. It was a great ride back to Ohio. Thanks again for helping buy this awesome car’" JD
~Jeff M of Boulder Creek, Calif factory ordered his Laguna Blue Z51 Convt to be picked up at the Museum and then drove it home to Calif. In his own words was an extremely thoughtful letter he wrote my General Manager. " I am writing a short note to say Bravo to Mike Furman and the team at Criswell. I just returned to California driving my new C7 after picking it up at the Museum Delivery program. While I can’t say enough good things about the Stingray, I am actually writing about Mike Furman, who was a delight to deal with at all stages. Not only was he forthright on pricing, he was quite knowledgeable about questions that I had about certain aspects of the car such as the competition seats and Mag ride options, both of which I choose which were quite good choices. I represent a large group of new car dealers here in California in a self-insured program as their General Counsel, so I am familiar with quite a few dealers, but it was Mike’s internet promotion and reputation which drove me to Criswell, and I have been singing his praises ever since.
