[ACCIDENT] 2008 Corvette Rear Ends a Toyota in the Ukraine

While wrecking a Corvette seems like a purely American past-time, occasionally we come across a foreign news report of a crashed Corvettes like this red 2008 Convertible we spotted on a Ukrainian website. Like many of the crashes we document here, this one appears to be caused by too much throttle and not enough brakes.

After running the site through Google Translate, we found that the C6 driver was speeding and couldn’t stop in time to avoid hitting a slower moving Toyota. Both cars suffered significant damage as you would expect but the news reports say both drivers were not injured.

We can’t help but to feel bad for the Corvette driver whose ride probably turned heads wherever he drove. Now the Corvette is showing severe damage to the front and we have to believe there is damage inside the engine compartment as well. Although this Corvette can be fixed, we can imagine finding the correct parts to repair the 2008 Corvette in Eastern Europe isn’t the easiest task in the world.
