Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Week of March 8th

Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays and Z06s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top Corvette seller.

In this week’s dispatch, Mike tells the story of how a Corvette buyer’s wife surprised her husband on Corvette delivery day. Here’s a recap from Mike showing a few of his customers and their brand new Corvettes.

Josh and Ashleigh of Fredricksburg, VA visited with me 6 weeks ago. They had heard of me from this very Forum and decided to make the two hour ride North to see our inventory and meet with me. Josh was very specific with what he was seeking but he needed it before a certain date due to a "work" related trip over seas May 1st. We sat down and built his Stingray Z51 7spd manual just the way he wanted. Last week I received a call from his wife that she had planned something special and needed my help. This is Josh’s very first Corvette and he is a great husband and Father. She needed to plan a Limo to Criswell because she wanted to surprise him and be able to drive home together in the new Stingray. Yesterday they arrived and Josh was thrilled with the whole experience. Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic at it’s finest!!















~Robert and Cherie of Leesburg, VA called me the other day seeking their very first Corvette. I gave them a sight unseen appraisal on their 2013 Infiniti G37 IPL cpe and we had the exact Corvette they were seeking. 2015 Stingray in Torch Red with Red calipers and 8spd Auto trans. Yesterday they arrived and drove off into the afternoon Sun happy as could be.





~*~ Many many moons ago I started selling Corvettes…July 26th 1978 to be exact. I lost much of my Corvette collection/pictures in Hurricane Sandy a few yrs ago. But this past week I found the oldest known picture of a Corvette I sold with the customer and I. I sold this Black/Black 1969 Corvette cpe with 4spd manual to a local business owner on a Saturday and visited him the next day. (I am in Red Sweatshirt)

~Tom is the President of the Southern Maryland Corvette Club and he took a ride up to visit me at Criswell yesterday so he could view our Stingray inventory. I sense his enthusiasm for the new C7…..hmmmmn and the wheels are turning.
