[PICS] The Corvettes at the 2014 SEMA Show

Ever since attending our first SEMA show, we’ve been hooked. And it’s not hard to see why either. There’s a ton of Corvette eye candy waiting to be seen with a different take on the car at just about every booth. Then tie in the cool new Corvette-related products, hot booth girls and the excitement of Las Vegas and that just about sums up what SEMA is all about.

Armed with our trusty Canon DSLR, we went hunting for Corvettes at the 2014 SEMA show and by our count, came up nearly 70 different cars ranging from a 1958 restomod to the 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible.

The excitement of SEMA started on Monday evening with the Chevrolet Media Reception at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Chevrolet rolled out four Corvettes for the show. On stage was the 2009 Corvette ZR1 Blue Devil Sinkhole Corvette, the 2015 Paul Stanley Design Concept, the Jimmie Johnson LT1 1971 Corvette and the 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible.

When the show started Tuesday morning, we made our way back to the Chevrolet area to see these Corvettes displayed. Then we hit the aisles and found some great looking Corvettes on display from third parties. Some of our favorites were the Lingenfelter C7 painted in Ember Gold matte paint, Brian Hobaugh’s 1965 Corvette at the Optima Battery booth and a C7 Corvette cover from Coverking that transforms your Stingray into Corvette Racing’s C7.R.

We had plenty of friends at the show who were showing off their Corvettes. Bondurant and Spring Mountain were both there with C7 Corvettes in their booths. The guys from Spring Mountain also providing hot laps in the Corvette Stingray. Jeff Nowicki was back with his Mobil 1-sponsored Stingray and there was more than one Lingenfelter-tuned Corvette in the house including a couple of Karl Kustom Corvettes.
