During last year’s filming of the second installment of Marvel Entertainment’s Captain America, we learned that one of the main characters would be driving a new Corvette Stingray. But you won’t have to wait for the release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier on April 4th to see the new Corvette. The movie car will be make its world premiere along side 14 other Chevrolet cars and trucks at the Chicago Auto Show later this week.
Despite its sinister-looking Black on Black color scheme, this C7 Corvette Stingray is driven by one of the good-guys, S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Black Widow, played in the movie by Scarlett Johansson.
The Black Widow’s Corvette will be in good company when it debuts in the Windy City. Joining it under the Chevrolet Bow-Tie video screen will be the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible and Coupe, as well as the new 2015 Z06 and the Corvette C7.R.
Chevrolet will be giving away a limited-edition Captain America comic book at the show to celebrate its partnership with Marvel Entertainment.

Chevrolet released this teaser pic featuring a worker named Fred Quinn putting a shine on the 2015 Corvette Z06 at the Chevrolet exhibit Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in preparation for the start of the Chicago Auto Show in Chicago, Illinois. The auto show opens to media on Thursday, and to the public on Saturday.
