Our friends at Zip Corvette Parts are pretty stoked these days.
Their new 2014 Corvette Stingray was delivered on Monday and the gang is pretty excited to be among the first to take delivery of the 7th generation sports car.
Like some of the other Corvette-related businesses we’ve highlighted, Zip will be using the Z51-equipped Stingray for product development and performance enhancements for their growing lineup of C7 Corvette parts.
Zip’s C7 Corvette is well equipped and it’s definitely the “right” color: Torch Red! Here’s the specs of Zip’s fully loaded C7 Corvette:
- Z51 Performance Package
- 7-Speed Manual Transmission
- 3LT Preferred Equipment Package
- Removable Carbon Fiber Roof Panel
- Magnetic Ride Control
- Multi-Mode Exhaust
- Microfiber Wrapped Sueded Trim Package
- Custom Red Calipers
- Black Painted Aluminum Wheels
- Carbon Flash Painted Spoiler and Mirrors
“No doubt, this car is a beauty. But make no mistake, we didn’t bring it here to just stare at it. This Stingray is our newest test mule – which means we’ll be rolling up our sleeves within the next few weeks and pulling it apart – in order to develop the best performance Corvette parts and interior, exterior and underhood personalization options for the new C7,” said Justin Abbott, Vice-President and Technical Supervisor at Zip.
If you find yourself in central Virginia, stop by Zip’s showroom at 8067 Fast Lane in Mechanicsville for an up-close and personal visit with the new C7 Corvette Stingray!
And if a C7 Corvette is on its way to your garage, make sure you load up on some C7 Corvette apparel so that you’ll look (nearly) as good as the new Corvette Stingray you’re driving!
