One of our happy places, The Lingenfelter Collection, will be holding their annual fall open house coming up on Saturday, October 12th. Festivities will run from 10am to 5pm. Since October is breast cancer awareness month, proceeds from the event will go to the Shades of Pink Foundation which helps ease the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis.
“Our Fall Open House will be a day of cars, fun and fashion dedicated to supporting the Shades of Pink Foundation” said Kristen Lingenfelter. “We greatly appreciate all our friends and event attendees for their compassion and generosity in helping support the important mission of Shades of Pink.”
The Fall Open House will feature roughly 150 cars of the Lingenfelter collection as well as two runway fashion shows. The catwalk will be active at 11:30am and 12:30pm showcasing wears from Impulse Boutique, Lolly Ella Jewelry, Lady LA’s of LaFontaine Automotive Group, Mariposa Boutique, Harley Davidson and Mother Fletchers Vintage Boutique. Entertainment will include live tunes performed by the Sanctuary Blues Band. Two Brothers Catering will provide the food and beverages.
Additionally, Brighton Harley-Davidson will show a Pink Label Harley-Davidson apparel line. They will also debut a special Harley-Davidson Breast Cancer motorcycle. Proceeds from the sale of the bike will also benefit the Shades of Pink Foundation. Throughout October, Lolly Ella Jewelry will be donating 100% of the sales from their special pink quartz bracelet to the foundation. Rottermond Jewelers will be showing off a heart-shaped pink pendant at the Fall Open House. A portion of the proceeds from its sales will also be donated to the foundation. Finally, there will also be a pink photo booth in addition to boutique shopping as well as several “pink” raffle items.
Over 150 cars make up the Lingenfelter Collection. Highlights include a Bugatti Veyron, several Ferrari’s including an Enzo, F40, a 288 GTO, and a FF, a Lambo Reventon, and a Porsche Carrera GT among several others. The muscle car room holds old Firebirds, Camaros, a Hemi Challenger, AAR Cuda, Novas, Mustangs, and pretty much 1 of every muscle car you can think of. In the Corvette section there’s a 1953 Supercharged Corvette, 1954 Silver styling Corvette, 1954 Duntov Mule, 2 Guldstrand GS90’s and about 10 Callaways in addition to about 30 other examples.
