The National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) announced recently that their National Judging Chairman will be stepping down from that post later this year. Roy Sinor will be staying with the organization, but moving into a newly created role.
Sinor has been the National Judging Chairman for the last 17 years. When he took the office Bill Clinton was President and the top TV shows at that time were ER, Friends, and Seinfeld.
Sinor won’t be going far, though. He’s staying with the NCRS and christening the newly created position of Historical Document Services Manager. He’ll also continue to oversee the Replacing Roy Sinor will be Dave Brigham who is the long running National Team Leader for the 1953-1955 judging class. Brigham will begin his reign as National Judging Chairman at the NCRS National Convention coming up in July in Hampton, Virginia.
The NCRS News Release summed up the changing of the guard nicely saying “Roy has headed our judging office and has been the keeper of the standard for the past 17 years. Roy’s leadership, enthusiasm for our judging system and its judges, and his friendly style have been of tremendous benefit to the NCRS. Roy and Dave will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition.”
